In this study, it is observed that AAC concrete gives high strength when compared to OPC which is nearly twice. After replacing quartz sand in fine aggregate at 50% replacement of quartz sand, there is an optimum increase in strength. AAC concrete can withstand high temperatures when compared to conventional concrete.
